But DID these people "sin no more"? We're never told. Of course they still sinned. Everyone sins. The whole point of Romans is that we CANNOT obey God's Law. By the way, even if you sit in a room with your Bible open and you pray 24/7, you still "Fall short of the glory of God". Christians already know that they can't stop sinning, and it BOTHERS them; that's the difference between Christians and non-Christians. Romans 5:20, baby!

The best comment i ever heard concerning the "battle with the flesh" is this: The only people who get better are the ones who believe that, even if they don't get better, God will love them anyway. Romans 5:20, baby!

That is a seriously weak argument. There were very notable and pious Pharisees and Jesus taught those who followed him not to sin, remember his continued words "Go and sin no more"? It is also ignorant to imply that a person is incapable of giving something up. In fact humans are quite capable of stopping a habit or even a sin. Your article heavily implies that it is impossible for a person to stop doing something ever.
